The Digital Marketing Specialization helped Veronica accelerate her new career path in digital marketing. From working in an art gallery to transitioning into the software industry, read her story:

Where are you from?

I am from Paraguay, after spending 6 years in Amsterdam, I am currently working and living in Lausanne, Switzerland.

What is a fun fact about you?

I graduated as architect in Paraguay, and a few years later I moved to Amsterdam, where I was working at an art gallery, when I discovered my passion for Digital Marketing, and I decided to start a new career path. After marketing art events and managing an online art shop, I worked for an online platform for architecture and design, then went to the consumer electronics market, and I finally landed into the software industry.

What do you do for a living?

I work as Marketing Specialist for a photogrammetry software developer. I am designing and implementing a Marketing Plan to position Pix4D solution in creative industries and the real estate market. Basically, I try to understand who could benefit from a software that automatically converts images taken by hand or by drone, into georeferenced 2D maps and 3D models, and then I find strategies to get in touch with the potential users and industries I identify.

Why did you decide to start the Digital Marketing specialization?

I was already working on Digital Marketing, but I wanted to deepen my knowledge and discover new trends. I was looking for a specialization to help me grow, to be ready for new professional challenges.

How have you applied what you’ve learned throughout the Digital Marketing specialization?

The Digital Marketing Specialization was 100% instrumental for me. I apply all that I learned throughout the courses, from understanding the Digital World, the way innovation and creative industries disrupt and creating and planning content optimized for different channels, to the analytic tools to measure our impact in the Digital World.

Do you have any advice for new learners or for those who may be unsure about starting the specialization?

It is a wonderful learning opportunity, the content is relevant and up-to-date, and you will be learning from industry experts. Make sure you can dedicate time and energy, and you will grow, you will be ready to face new professional challenges with confidence.
