Learner of the Week: Raisa Gruezo

Julio(1)

Where are you from?

I am from Esmeraldas, Ecuador. A coastal city in the Pacific ocean.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I am very spontaneous and direct. Sometimes I like to make jokes with a little of sarcasms.

What do you do for a living?

I am an entrepreneur. I am starting my own blog website. Also, I am really passionate about IT consultancy, project management and marketing and sales strategies.

What would your dream job look like?

My job dream would look like a Marketing and sales strategies position, but also I’d like to coach and advise other people (especially women) to persuade their passions and make their dreams true.

Why did you decide to begin the Digital Marketing Specialization?

Nowadays we are living the era of Internet, so I want to enhance my skills and abilities in digital marketing. It will be a “must” to adjust and shift to this new and promising generation.

What has been the most interesting thing you’ve learned from the course you are on?

Being honest, I’ve learned a lot of stuff from this course such as: UGC [user-generated content], DBI [doppelgänger brand images], augmented reality, and so on. Also, I could reinforce some other concepts.

Have you gotten a chance to apply Digital Marketing concepts to your daily life?

Of course and I have some other ideas to apply. I am glad to have chosen this course.

How do you plan your schedule to make time for Digital Marketing courses?

I try to dedicate it between 2 and 3 hours per day. As I talked you before, I am working at home so I can manage my time better.

Do you have any advice for new learners or those who may be unsure about starting the specialization?

Sure. If you are passionate about something, please never stop studying, searching and learning about that. Try to be always updated! I know sometimes it could seem hard to make time for (in fact, it is not an easy task), but remember
Time is now, tomorrow you do not know
Good luck with the courses and keep enjoying them! 🙂

That was a very wise observation about time; grab it while you have it! As I tell my kids.
    Glad to know you!
