I am from Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I am very passionate about digital disruptions. I believe that there is no age limit for knowledge acquisition. I love sharpening the saw for acquiring new learning yield daily.
What do you do for a living?
I work for a great IT & Digital Services organization whose mission is transforming lives.
What would your dream job look like?
As an Entrepreneur, running my own businesses, creating several opportunities for for the people, coach, mentor, enable personal transformation for them and transform lives there by create a great value to society and demonstrate the purpose of my life.
Why did you decide to start the Digital Marketing specialization?
As I have a background of Marketing from my International Management MBA Studies, I wanted to understand the What, Why and How of the the Digital Marketing and not limit just to the understanding but to get specialized, thus I started of with this specialization.

What has been the most interesting thing you’ve learned in the course you are on?
First and Foremost, The 5th P – People a Crucial Factor in Digital Marketing.

The other key aspects are:

  • MAP – Plan, Collect, Analyze & Report which is very well explained.
  • Defining Clear Marketing Objectives for the Campaign, establishing right digital Marketing strategies, tactics, KPIs and for targeted audience
  • Expressing Brand Essence in all communications about the Brand to the Internal & External World.Telling Authentic stories about the brand.
  • Content focus should be on enhancing Brand Credibility and Consistent alignment of Content with the brand message & values and consistency across all channels is essential.
  • Content without a Context is meaningless. Finally selection of right digital channels and blending with traditional channels.
  • Creating a Superior and Seamless Multi channel experience.

Have you gotten a chance to apply Digital Marketing concepts in your daily life?
Yes. I am supporting organization and client digital transformation initiatives. Also I was able to achieve Google Digital Marketing Platform – Professional Accreditation after completing all the Google Digital Platform Products Google AdWords – Accreditation & Certification requirements (Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, Video Advertising, Shopping Advertising ) in addition to this Google Analytics Individual Qualification. With this, I am now a Google Certified Digital Marketer. I also provide coaching and consultation on Digital Marketing. Check my Google Public Partner Profile for my professional accreditations.
How do you plan your schedule to make time for Digital Marketing courses?
I had spent close to 8 Hours every weekend for 6 Months for getting Digital Marketing Specialization. To achieve Google Digital Marketing Platform Certification (AdWords) and Google Analytics Individual Qualification , I spent close to 6 Hours every weekend for 6 Months.
Do you have any advice for new learners or for those who may be unsure about starting the specialization?
This specialization had awesome facilitation from world-class faculties & Industry experts with lot of insights, trends, cases studies and artifacts. The one thing which I loved about is the Real Life Capstone project ie, establishing a Digital Marketing Plan for Real life Situation for top notch business organizations which enabled to apply all the concepts learnt. This specialization has actually paved the foundation for me to attain the Google Digital Marketing Platform Certification.
