Google Shares Insights to Build a Better Mobile Strategy

In this fast-moving mobile world, answers are expected to be super-quick. People pick the nearest device whenever they want to accomplish a task, learn something, or make a decision. Our mobile devices have become an inseparable part of our lives. The introduction of the mobile devices has entirely changed the interaction scenario between people. People are now more attached to their devices than they ever were. Google has shared some insights as to how a cross-device user juggles between his phone, tablet, and computer in a day:

• 80% of people use a smartphone.
• 27% of people use a smartphone only.
• 14% of people use a computer only.
• 57% of people use different kinds of devices.

Besides these statistics, it has been found that 40% of people use only a smartphone to search in a given day. These are the people looking to fulfill their immediate requirements. This shift to mobile devices has increased the number of Google searches happening on mobile phones. Below are some themes which are mostly searched by people according to Google:

• Health: Including topics such as cold sores, cold, and sunburns.
• Parenting: Including topics such as maternity, new parenting, and teething.
• Beauty: Including topics such as manicure and pedicure, hair styling, nail care etc.
